Use Caution When Opening Email

Viruses have become a way of life for anyone that uses computers. We've all seen the spam filling our in box but those responsible for sending these infected files are getting more and more sneaky. It's not uncommon for email to be received as if it is coming from people we know and trust. This being the case we urge you to open E-mail with caution. If you receive mail from people you don't know or are not expecting you are urged to hit delete before opening the letter. If unexpected mail is received with an attachment from someone that you know or think you can trust it is worth checking with the sender to make sure that they, in fact, sent you the file.

If you have any questions or concerns about mail or viruses please feel free to contact the IT Helpdesk at 744-HELP (744-4357).
